EVANA FLORES

An Art Director that writes...

I graduated in the unforgettable year of 2019, from The University of Texas at Austin, where I received a B.S. in Advertising, a Creative Writing Certificate in Poetry, and pursued a separate focus in Visual Media (photojournalism). I also survived the ‘Texas Creative’ portfolio program as an Art Director.

In the last three years, I’ve completed the Martin Residency program as a 2020 MAIP fellow, and have since been at Third Ear (formerly Latinworks), serving up Art Direction for Multicultural/Latin markets, and helping brands speak to new generations in distinctive and memorable ways. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Lay’s, Red Stripe, Snickers, M&M’s, Pedigree, Highland Park, LALO, & Google— to name them most.

My work has been recognized in Adage, One Club’s Young Ones, and a few poetry magazines here and there.

In between I’ve kept myself busy making non-functional pottery on a child’s size wheel, designing laser cut jewelry, and creating hypothetical music video treatments (in my head).
