WHITE #3. Summer's t-shirt
Meet WHITE #3, the newest t-shirt in the RANDOM/RANDOM lineup.
It's got the same classic slim fit, thin neckline, and thoughtful stitching as our original WHITE #1, but cut from a more lightweight, 100% cotton (30% Supima cotton, 70% Australian cotton) fabric that's perfect for warmer temperatures or for layering in the colder months. It's casual, it's easy, and it's made for your daily urban life.
Our premium Supima cotton is grown in the US and has an average fiber length of 1.5 inches (about half an inch longer than the common cotton fiber). The longer the cotton fiber length, the softer and more durable the fabric. Supima cotton represents less than 1% of cotton grown in the world.
Coming from the other side of the world is Australian cotton, a high-quality cotton known for its sustainability, traceability, and purity. (And like Japan's ethos of continuous improvement, Australia's cotton industry is highly respected for its commitment to better production methods.)
These two cotton types are picked and blended at our factory partner in Wakayama, Japan, to create a super soft, super fine, and super durable cotton fabric using a high-tech, 32-gauge circular knitting machine. It's got a light weight of 150g/m², which is the kind of hand feel you'd want in your favorite summer t-shirt. The fabric is then sent to Niigata, where all of our RANDOM/RANDOM t-shirts are cut and assembled.
