Taken during a trip to Mattapoisett, MA, this film photo captured in a family house Emily describes as opulent, eerie, and bizarre. It depicts two of her friends lying on a bed as they realize they are in love with each other. They later got married as an art piece but have since divorced.
Emily Gurland is a born-and-
raised New Yorker, director, photographer, and DJ. She trained at NYU and is drawn to explorations of intricacies and nuances of being human.

If stained, clean as soon as possible with water and soap, rubbing the area with your fingers, then rinse with cold water and air-dry naturally—avoid tumble drying.

For tougher stains, spray the area with Shout (or your preferred stain remover) and let it sit for 24 hours. Then rinse with cold water and air-dry naturally. Also avoid tumble drying.

2. WAIST — Your natural waistline. The narrowest spot. Tape around. Same tension rule.

3. HIPS — Fullest point. Right over the hipbone. Wrap and record. Done.
